Our Senior Pastor: Rev. Rodrick L. Bates
I was born and raised in San Antonio to Dan/Jackie Bates, the grandson of the late Bro. Prince/Saleta Rogers, and the great grandson of the founder of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, and Antioch Baptist Church of San Antonio, TX, Pastor Rufus Wilson.
I graduated from East Central High School and attended (USC), University of Southern California for two years. I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, while serving in the military. I graduated in 2012 from the Bible Base School of Theology in Stockton, CA with an Associate of Arts Degree in Theology and was the Salutatorian. I graduated in 2020 with my Master's in Divinity Degree.
I am a former member of the Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Sacramento, CA under Pastor Bryant C. Wyatt. There I served as the Associate Pastor, Youth Pastor, President of the Men's Ministry, Adult Sunday school teacher, Assistant Sunday school superintendent, and the Assistant Bible Study instructor.
I am a former member of the local, district, and state Brotherhood Union of CA, Teaches/preaches throughout the state at youth conferences, churches, and associations. I am a member of (CUFI) Christians United for Israel under the leadership of national and world leader Pastor John Hagee, and I am the former Vice President of (S4LS) Sports 4 Life Sacramento, a sports based nonprofit organization that serves inner-city youth with affordable sports/life opportunities. we help inner-city kids learn how to deal with life issues, thru sports discipline. And We also take the opportunity to offer Jesus has hope for their future.
I serve in The Western Region (North Division) of The Full Gospel Fellowship international, under the leadership of Bishop Jonny Withers Jr. Under the leadership of The Western Region Overseer Pastor

I believe in helping the youth, because they are our future and the future of the church. I also believe in helping the elderly as well, because they are supplied with the wisdom and the knowledge that the younger people and those not so young need to make it in this life. I love working with the Men's Department, helping men to fellowship with one another in and outside of church as men!
I served in the United States Army/National Guard for 10 1/2 years and is currently employed by AIT Worldwide Logistics Services as the Warehouse Manager for 1 1/2 years. Served as The Warehouse Manager for Sony PlayStation for 15 years. I served as a Unit Supply Sergeant and did 2 overseas tours to Korea. Traveled all over the country while serving on the All-Army Basketball team for 7 years during my military service.
My favorite scripture is; The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and he delighteth in his ways.
